James has an extensive background in leading education in both the salon channel and retail space. Working closely with the education team and ghd Creative Artists, James is here to inspire, upskill and develop our ghd salon partners with on trend looks and styles, using the latest innovation and technology. Originally from the UK, James has worked with leading brands across the globe leading creative direction on photoshoots, product campaigns and fashion week shows.

Michael Mendel

Proudly Brazilian-Kiwi, Michael Mendel is a stylist with heart. Latinos are famously passionate people and Michael brings this into creating fun education sessions. His portfolio includes working at several international fashion weeks, photoshoots, TV Shows as well as in-salon looking after clients, Michael is excited to share his expertise to ghd as New Zealand’s Senior Educator.
Previously supporting ghd in Victoria and Tasmania, Australia with huge success, Michael has taken over the reins to support New Zealand in-salon education, ensuring continuing creativity and commercial success at ghd salons.

Originally from New Zealand Tai has worked with some of the best salon groups across NZ and Victoria. His passion for hair and training led for him to working with a major colour company across ANZ where he discovered his love for styling hair through working at photoshoots and fashion shows in Melbourne. Joining ghd as part of the premium retail team he brings a wealth of knowledge with commercial understandings of a salon business but also how to inspire and upskill hairdressers and apprentices a like!

George started his ghd journey working at one of ghd’s premiere salons in Sydney, assisting with the ghd creative artist team back stage on fashion weeks, he recently joined ghd as the educator for NSW and ACT and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of a customer centric brand like ghd, giving invaluable styling advice to the salons he visits

Niki is passionate about styling, education and editorial work, she is known for her creativity, professional skill and sought-after moder, feminine styles from bridal to fashion.
